The Polish subsidiary of the NOSTA Group is expanding its capabilities, particularly in managing time-critical promotional transports for major retail chains under tight delivery windows. To strengthen its operational structure, Agnieszka Ropel has been appointed Supervisor Operations Team Frigo. Additionally, the full-service logistics provider actively invites carriers with refrigerated fleets to become long-term transport partners, supporting the growing network.
“Cold chain logistics is a key pillar of our growth strategy in Poland. As demand for temperature-controlled transport continues to rise, we are investing in our team to strengthen our operational capabilities to continuously ensure reliable, high-quality service for our clients”, says Alicja Mendryk, Head of Unit Road at NOSTA Logistik. With this, NOSTA is reacting to a 20 per cent growth in the refrigerated transport segment, complemented by an additional 15 per cent increase generated by new customers and industries.
The company specializes in the transport of food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic products across Europe and has recently expanded its activities in managing time-critical promotional transports for major retail chains, coordinating high shipment volumes within very short lead times and strict delivery windows to distribution centres.
To ensure maximum safety throughout the supply chain, all processes are managed in accordance with IFS Logistics and QS certifications, which define the highest standards for handling sensitive goods. In parallel, the company has further strengthened its carrier verification procedures and enhanced continuous market monitoring in order to mitigate risks such as cargo theft.
Strengthening operational oversight
The appointment of Agnieszka Ropel as Supervisor Operations Team Frigo directly strengthens the oversight of cold chain processes. Drawing on her long-standing experience within NOSTA Logistik, Ropel takes responsibility for coordinating shipments under strict temperature regimes, optimizing transport flows, and managing relationships with transport partners. She is also responsible for the rigorous verification of carriers and the continuous development of quality and safety standards within the cold chain.
"With her extensive practical experience in managing transport processes, Agnieszka Ropel understands the critical requirements of the cold chain segment. Her expertise will allow us to manage increasing volumes more effectively while ensuring operational stability for our customers" says Mendryk.
Partnership Opportunities for Carriers
The expansion of temperature-controlled services is accompanied by intensified efforts to attract new transport partners. NOSTA Logistik invites carriers with refrigerated fleets to establish long-term cooperation, offering professional support from a dedicated team and access to a stable network of international freight within the NOSTA Group. Partners benefit from a dedicated customer service representative, assistance in route optimisation, and attractive payment terms, including a discount system (skonto), providing both operational guidance and financial reliability.
