- Christian Böttcher takes over from Ivo Aris

Osnabrueck, August 7, 2025 – The NOSTA Group is filling a key management position: Christian Böttcher has taken over as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Air & Ocean as of August 1, 2025. He is succeeding Ivo Aris, who stepped down from his position as COO Global Air & Ocean and member of the NOSTA Group Executive Board for personal reasons effective July 31. He held these positions for almost two years.
"With Christian Böttcher, we are gaining an internationally experienced logistics manager with more than 25 years of management experience in global forwarding and logistics companies," says Nicolas Gallenkamp, CEO and owner of the NOSTA Group. Other stages in Böttcher's career included Leschaco, UTi Worldwide, Röhlig Logistics, and most recently Atlantic Forwarding. He was responsible for comprehensive reorganization and transformation projects with proven financial success.

During his career, Böttcher was responsible for, among other things, the global ocean freight organization of an international corporation with an annual volume of over 550,000 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent units) and the management of regional subsidiaries with several hundred employees. In doing so, he has repeatedly demonstrated his ability to successfully reorganize complex structures, strengthen customer focus and achieve profitable growth.
